Beauty Trending: Black NEVER Goes Out of Style

Dark colored nail polishes are my all-time favorite shades to wear. 
They look very formal and sophisticated, (like what the article says below), and on top of that, they look good with pretty much every outfit.


Yes, I know that black is very dark and gothic, but who's to say black nail polish is only appropriate for the Halloween season?
They way to "unscary-fy" the black nail polish look? Short with patent leather shine. 

1.  Buff your nails
2. Add a base coat before anything to prevent your nails from staining.
3. Apply 2 thin coats to make the look dense and rich. 
4. Finish with a topcoat.


I'm going to get a lot of use out my Milani Nail Lacquer black nail polish this fall, that's forsure!

    I love black as well! And I agree that darker colors can look very classy. Ummm, I'm lovin the mint color! Even tho I've yet to try it out. haha And I love bright cherry red, and bright pink.

    It's been awhile since I wore black alone on my nails, but too bad its spring over here so I want to be bright and cheery with my nails :)

    i love the look of black too! i could definitely use a new black nail polish. one color that never goes out of style for me is classic red. i also really like nude colors for nails -- they're subtle and they make your nails look clean and polished. :)

    Black is one of my favorites for sure! I've got China Glazes D12 Hunger-games Smoke & Ashes. I love how it's sparkly AND Black! BUT my favorite color to wear is definitely purple :)

    Have you done a review on the Milani nail lacquer, what did you think of it?

    I love Milani cosmetic products, but was never brave enough to buy any of the polishes.
