Insane Marriage Proposals

I think weddings are the most romantic thing in the world! Even though I haven't really been to one, I still think it's cute. The idea of spending your whole life with the one you are in love with makes me excited for my future. hahaha. But I'm still young and I have all the time in the world.

Now I believe that before you can get married, there has to be some kind of marriage proposal that's supposed to happen, right? The guy is supposed to think of a great way to ask a girl for her hand. Whether it be simple or crazy, it has to be done:D

Here are some cute and "successful" proposals:

How sweet! I loved this. It's so romantic, in a way. haha.

I thought this one was really cute:D (Even though the reporter kind of ruined the suprise.) They make such a cute couple! And I'm not just saying that because he's a football player and she's a cheerleader.

Now let's see some of the cute and "unsuccessful" ones:

I love the way he did the proposal. It just sucks how the girl was caught off guard and she just ran off. But hopefully it was just a misunderstanding and they were able to work it out:D

There's gotta be a reason why she ran off like that. I just hope they were able to talk it out! I hate seeing a proposal-gone-wrong.

I'm not really sure if the next video is fake or not. But I like it. It's so romantic in a childish way. haha.

How did your husband propose to you? Or what is your dream proposal?

  5. I did a post on engagement stories, if you're interested :-) I don't really blame the girl for running off... I would want (and I got) my proposal to be a private thing and never in front of loads of people!

  10. that first video is AMAZING!! It reminds me of that scene from Love Actually, except with a happier ending :) That was pretty much the most romantic thing I've ever seen. Made my Friday

Also, I am uber glad you put proposals gone wrong..awful but you gotta laugh. I had a friend who literally lived in fear for months that her (now) husband would propose to her at a nba game...thankfully he didn't

I think so much of the proposal depends on the person you're with. As much as I want to live my life as a musical, anything non generic and heartfelt is good by me.

Your blog is quickly becoming one of my favorites :)

  12. haha- too cute. i think all girls need to tell their best friends about their individual proposal rules. for example, i have a firm rule about no food. i can think of nothing more disgusting than digging my ring out of a glass of champagne or a cupcake or baked potato. ew!

  13. @PreppyPinkCrocodile: that's what i think too. hahaha. just so they can give him a heads up right? hahha.

  16. omg these are so funny and cute!

My fave are the first one and the Disney one.

I feel so bad for those who got rejected!

I don't really know how I want my bf to propose to me. Anything creative would be awesome! as long as it's from the heart.

That won't be for a few years tho I'm still young haha

I loved the first one it was so creative and unique and you could tell he really loved her - the t-shirts were great! You want a guy that will make you laugh!

I'm also very young to be thinking about this as I am 15! But I want something creative whether that be in private or in a crowd but I think I would be pretty embarassed if it was!

    Thanks for sharing :)

  34. So mine was actually incredibly sweet. We were sitting on the beach in Maui at sunset when he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I was so surprised cause we had never even discussed marriage (though it was a logical next step since we'd been living together for a year). Plus he is normally not the romantic, creative type.
