A Normal School Day Outfit and a Giveaway:D

Lately, I've seen some wonderful bloggers post blogs about some of their creation from polyvore.com. And I really really liked the outfits that they made, especially Marie's different fashion picks.

So I decided to check it out and it's really fun. You get to express your own fashion sense by putting together pieces that you love. Here's my very first polyvore creation...

I go to a public school so I have to dress up everyday. I admit that trying to put together different pieces of clothing gets tiring after a while but I enjoy it:D

Weather here in LA has been really crazy. So here is something similar to what I usually wear when were in the "cold days." I guess it's safe to say that leather jackets is what's "in" for us teens these days, so i just like to take my black leather jacket and I wear it on top of my favorite hoodie:D

1. Who is your style icon?: Mmmm, i don't really have a style icon. I like following my own fashion sense. But if I had to pick a celebrity that always looks cute, it would probably be Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez. I really really like their style. It's always comfy but cute and it's also easy to recreate:D

2. What is your favorite socialite lit book?: I don't really have a favorite socialite lit book. But my favorite books would probably be the twilight saga, Hailey Abbott books, and Sarah Dessen books.

3. Favorite party theme?: For the past two years, I've always had a party. My 14th birthday party motif was just kinda girly pink and my 15th one was a Hollywood theme. In the future, i would want a sparkle and glitter-themed party.

4. Go to Halloween costume?: My favorite go to Halloween costume would be dressing up as twins with my best friend or just doing a mix-match of clothes:D

5. Extravagance you cannot live without?: I definitely cannot live without my cellphone, my television, my laptop, and my wardrobe.

6. living person you admire?: In terms of celebrities, I probably admire Sandra Bullock the most. She's a really good actress and i love all of her movies.

7. Greatest fear?: My biggest fear are spiders. Ah, i just can't stand them. They're so hairy and just scary. Just writing about them gives me the creeps.

8. Trait you deplore in yourself?: One trait that I hate about myself is that I don't have enough motivation to actually do something. I always tend to get really frustrated and I eventually just give up:(

9. Which talent would you most like to have?: I really like singing. So along with it, I would really love to learn how to play the piano. The sound is just so soothing and relaxing.

10. Greatest Achievement?: My greatest achievement would be winning first place with my drill team in the main competition at LAUSD. We were all very excited because we got our banner and our 1st place trophy back. Which we actually lost 3 years ago:D

Abercombie and Fitch: Sexy Summer Dresses

Besides Forever 21 and H&M, I also love going to Abercrombie and Fitch and browsing through their cute clothes. I admit that some of their clothes are a little overpriced but sometimes, if you have the patience, you'll find something really nice for a good price.

In my previous post, I talked about cute and affordable swimsuits from Forever 21. So when I visited Abercrombie's website for some online shopping, I saw these cute and sexy summer dresses.

Here's another one that I really loved. It only comes in one color but it's really nice and perfect for summertime. I love how the pink plaid skirt goes really well with the navy blue lacy spaghetti straps top.

Summer is just around the corner. And Forever 21 has launched yet another collection called Beauty and the Beach Swim Collection. It consists of bikinis and one-piece swimsuits that are really cute and affordable.

The Proposal

The Proposal is a feel-good comedy movie that will have you laughing all the way to the last scene.

My sister dragged me to the theaters to watch it and I wasn't really interested. I was giving her the "It's gonna be boring.", "It's not even gonna be good.", "We're just gonna waste our time." lines. But by the time we were walking out of the theater, I absolutely loved it.

Margaret Tate, played by Sandra Bullock, is an up-tight and proud executive editor-in-chief who is about to be deported to Canada. She then bribes her assistant, Andrew Paxton played by Ryan Reynolds,a promotion to the position of editor if he agrees to marry her in order for her not to get deported.

Of course Andrew couldn't pass this up since it's his dream to become an editor, so he agrees. To make it look realistic, the both of them head to Alaska to spend time with Andrew's family. And as they spend more and more time with each other, feelings between them starts to grow.

Like any romantic-comedy movie, the two of them end up together. On their wedding day, Margaret admits to everyone that everything was just a set-up to save her from getting deported to Canada. Then she goes back to New York to pack her things and next thing she knows, Andrew is kneeling down behind her in front of the whole office staff. He confesses his feelings to her and proposes, for real this time.

I'd have to say that this movie really is one of my favorites. I can watch it over and over again and I would not get tired of it. Sandra Bullock shows us a whole new side to her and Ryan Reynolds is just so amazingly cute:D

I really suggest for you guys to check this movie out. It's a must-see.

Replay was originally sung by IYAZ. But this Filipino-American acoustic band did a cover and they sound sooo amazing.

I really love their version more than the original one. This video explains why i do:D They're all very talented artists. I would really love to watch one of their live concerts.

Forever 21: 2010 Prom Collection

Today is a lazy day and I'm just sitting in my sister's living room with my laptop, hoping to find something on the Internet that will keep me busy, at least till my brother-in-law finishes cooking lunch:D

I decided that I should visit Forever 21's website just to see what their new arrivals are. and I saw their new collection: 2010 Prom Collection.

Forever 21's collection has so much prom dresses to choose from and some are really really cute. I would definitely consider some of the dresses from these collection to be my prom dress. but I'm still a sophomore, so it's not time for me yet. My sister is a junior so she's looking at some of these.

Victoria Secret: Secret Garden Collection

Victoria Secret offers a variety of scents in their Secret Garden Collection.

There are so much to choose from and they all smell really good.

My favorite, so far, is their Sparkling Sugared Pear.

Sparkling Sugared Pear is a mixture of pink sugar, pear blossom, and peach. It's very light and refreshing. I LOVE IT. And it only costs $20 plus tax all in all. The body mist is only $9 and so is the body lotion. It is a limited edition which makes me really sad because mine is already running out. I guess I'm going to have to pick another scent:D

Which is okay with me since there are hundreds to choose from. When i get the time to drop by Victoria Secret, I would probably try the "Island Waters"

This scent is a mixture of coconut water and pineapple. Victoria Secret also offers a body wash of this scent too. I will definitely have to try that. However, it is also limited edition so i better hurry:)

New Moon DVD

I recently got the "New Moon DVD." It was from my mom's

friend. He purchased it at Target because they offer the Deluxe Edition for only $26.99. It includes a 3-disc special with a collectible film cell. I think that's a pretty good deal.

I like this movie so much better than the first. This one really followed the book unlike "Twilight." They missed so much important events in the movie. On a scale of 1-10, I would give New Moon a 9:)

And by the way i'm TEAM JACOB! for now, anyway:D

Shopping: Forever21

Forever 21 is my all-time favorite store. They have so many cute clothing that won't cost you a fortune. Every time I go shopping there, I browse first in the sale section because usually the pieces that I liked from my previous visit is already there. Then I go on to the regular priced clothes...

The very first thing that I saw right when I walked in, is this tube top romper that only cost $13.80. It came in 3 colors: green, pink, and yellow. I was so happy because it's exactly what I was looking for. Lately, I've been trying to find a nice summer outfit and this was perfect.

After, i was on a search for a cute tank top that I can wear with the romper. And I found this purple striped tank that only cost me $8.80. I can wear it under the romper or even on top of it. It matches perfectly. I can also wear a bikini top under it paired with denim shorts and cute flip flops.

Summer is just around the corner and I'm extremely glad that I found the perfect outfit for such a cheap price. All together plus tax, I only payed $25.57. Now that's a very good deal:D
