Product Review: Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion

Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion
$3.31

This lightweight, fast-absorbing lotion blends replenishing natural Cocoa Butter with emollient Lanolin to soothe and soften dry, irritated skin. It's recommended as an effective facial moisturizer for day or night use to help reduce the appearance of dry skin wrinkles, lines and crow's feet. The lotion works to restore and maintain skin's essential moisture balance and is excellent for skin that has been overexposed to sun or wind. It also helps relieve stretched skin during and after pregnancy. After just a few uses your skin will feel softer, smoother and more comfortable.

This lotion is extremely moisturizing.
It has a thick consistency so it takes time for my skin to absorb it.
I apply it every night and every morning when I'm getting ready for school and it makes my skin feel really smooth.

It lasts the whole day which is perfect for the chilly fall weather.
It's been really windy here in California lately. I walk to school so I need some extra moisture to prevent my skin from cracking.
This product is also great for rough elbows, knees, feet, and of course, stretch marks.

The packaging is just wonderful. I got a 32 oz. bottle for only $3.31.
I think that's an awesome deal since the bottle is HUGE!
It has a snap on top that makes it easy to apply. You don't have to go through all the trouble of turning the cap.

This is what the lotion looks like. It's a light yellow color.
It's very creamy. It also smells great, like Cocoa Butter.
The smell doesn't really last so if you don't like it, it's not a problem.

This lotion is perfect for a student like me. It's a great moisturizer! I don't have to worry about having dry, cracked skin at school.
I definitely recommend this product. I give it 4 stars.

Have you tried using the Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion? What was your experience with it?

I love to put on lotion. Sometimes I'll watch TV and go into a lotion trance for an hour. I try to find brands that don't taste bad in case anyone wants to taste me.

  3. I believe i tried this one before... long time ago though. Maybe four or five years ago?maybe? I believe it had a pump when I tried it. I didn't like it. This is when I was noticing I have something wrong with my skin... not sure if Im just sensitive to certain things, it doesn't truly kick in until the cold time of year. Anywho, it was a nightmare... when I tried this product it made my skin really hot and inflamed. I felt sick. Nothing has ever made me feel the way that stuff did. And it sucks, cuz I know its really good for dry skin :(

  33. Cocoa butter can aid the skin in many ways. It is an all-natural product derived from cocoa and it has been known to have many replenishing attributes when it is applied to the skin.

For those wish dry skin, it can be very helpful keeping it moisturized. For those concerned about stretch marks, there is a lot of Vitamin E in coca butter and Vitamin E does have many replenishing and restorative benefits.
