Love IT: 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards

It is time for another one of my "Love IT" posts.

The 2011 Golden Globe Awards happened last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. I missed it because I was at my friend's 18th birthday party. But no worries, that's what the internet is for!!!

"Social Network" won Best Motion Picture. But I really think that Inception should've won it. Who agrees with me?!

Anyways, there were so many beautiful gowns last night. I couldn't pick my most favorite one. I have to say, it was extremely difficult.



Jennifer Lopez

I love the color on her tan skin. But I'm not feeling the poncho effect she went for. Though I love the glitters!



Mandy Moore

LOVE LOVE LOVE the color on her! It's very bright and vibrant. She could've done something a bit better with her hair though.



Natalie Portman

Yes, she is pregnant. and yes, the dress does look a little off, especially with the necklace. But who cares? She's glowing and she looks amazingly beautiful!



Emma Stone

I LOVE the simplicity of her dress. It goes very well with her new blonde hair. :)

She wore a long sleeved, emerald Atelier Versace gown. OH MY GOSH! This dress is soooooo pretty. I love the emerald color. And it looks even better on Angelina Jolie.



2nd Place: Lea Michele

I know, this gown is nothing compared to the black, strapless Oscar de la Renta gown she wore in the 2010 Golden Globe Awards. But she still looked beautiful in her ruffled, rose colored, one shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown this year.



1st Place: Catherine Zeta-Jones

Catherine glittered in her strapless forest green Monique Lhuillier gown. She accessorized it with Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry along with Ferragamo shoes.

This is the most amazing gown I've ever seen. She's definitely the Best Dressed!

I am not going to be doing a "Hate IT" post on this award show. Just because I love almost all of their gowns. :)

Hate It: 2011 People's Choice Awards

Happy Saturday Guys!

Since I posted a "LOVE IT" post, it only makes sense that I make a "HATE IT" post, right?

Of course, there were some ensembles in the 2011 People's Choice Awards that didn't really catch my eye.

And I'm going to share it you guys. :D

So here it is: My first "HATE IT" post of the year 2011!



Leighton Meester

I love her but I hate the dress. To me, it looks like something an 11 year old would wear. It's not meant for award shows.



Minka Kelly

I think she's really pretty, but her dress just looks kinda weird to me. I don't know. I don't exactly hate it, but I don't like it either.



Tiffany Hines

This just made me laugh. It's exactly the same dress that Fergie wore on the 2010 American Music Awards. I hated it then and I hate it now.



3rd Place: Niki Taylor

She looks like a witch with her dress! But I like her make up. Very simple.

What the heck is this? I don't even know what to say!



1st Place: Raven Symone

Growing up, I was a big fan of That's so Raven. And now I'm really glad that she's back. But seriously now. What is she wearing? No, just no!

You guys know how much I loooove award shows. I never ever miss any of them.

So I think it's time for one of my "I LOVE" posts. Let's do this. :D

The 2011 People's Choice Awards took place last Sunday at the Nokia Theaters here in LA.

My friend actually got to go, so she was texting me the whole night. Everytime she saw a celebrity, she would text me. So it felt like I was there too. :D

She said that she borrowed this dress from her character "Naomi" on 90210. She still looked very pretty.

I definitely love this. It's such a fun and girly dress.

I have to say, she was really glowing. And I love her dress. Glitters always win me over.

Even though she played it safe and went with her signature look of curly up-do and red lips, I still loved the way she looked.

I really really like Kendall Jenner's dress. And I love how she paired it with black oxfords. :D

1st Place: Selena Gomez

She looked beautiful in her ruffled Paule Ka one shoulder dress.



But she looked stunning in her printed Irina Shabayeva
half-dress while she performed her new single, "A year without rain." She paired it with gold dangling earrings and gold pumps. A very nice ensemble. :D

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. It's sooooo beautiful! I would totally wear it to my winter formal.
